BIM Modeler:
Quality Electric Inc has been in the electrical industry since 1962 and is a leader in BIM/VDC technologies such as:
Laser scanning, GPS layout, Total Robotic Station, Scan to BIM, 3D-5D models with LOD’s up to 500, and field install drawings.

Duties and responsibilities:
1. Modeling detailed metadata rich 3D models using Revit, Point Clouds, and Navisworks Manage.
2. General understanding of Revit and how it operates
3. Setup of Revit views and install drawings
4. Ability to create worksets and understanding work sharing
5. Ability to apply filters and manipulate families
6. Input content using marked up drawings
7. Coordinate with other trades and external participants
8. Understanding of the construction process and the 3D coordination as it applies to other trades
9. Work accurately and effectively with minimal supervision
10. Prepare and create drawings and documents using Revit
11. Ability to take verbal and written direction
12. Assist the laser scanning, and GPS team when needed
Education and Experience:
· Construction experience is preferred. Must have a minimum of 1 year of Revit experience and be proficient in Revit.
· Electrical background is preferred but not required
. GED or High School Diploma required
Knowledge and skills:
· Fluency in all applicable versions of Revit (2018-2022)
· Fluency in reading contract documents, specifications, and blueprints
· Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
· Ability to work overtime hours is a plus
· Fluency in the 2D and 3D space
· Fluency in Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD MEP, and Trimble software is a plus
· Ability to multitask and work under pressure
· A self-motivated team player
Working Conditions:

Journeyman Electrician: $38.00 hourly
Duties and responsibilities:
- Install new electrical system in a variety of environments
- Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical issues
- Direct and teach lower-level electrical workers and apprentices
- Work safely and efficiently with minimal direction
- Read blueprints, contract documents, and specifications
- Bend and fabricate conduit of all types up to 4”, install: structural supports, electrical devices and fixtures, cable tray, electrical equipment and gear such as transformers and panels, bus duct, conductors up to 1000 kcmil, instruments, motor controls, fire alarm panels and devices, medium voltage systems, low voltage systems, light poles, traffic signals, etc
- Lift, carry, and push up to 50 pounds
- Use hand tools and power tools to accomplish tasks
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, and the like
- Use BIM technology to assist in project development
- Use of technology as it applies to your position
- Take verbal and written direction
- Calculate basic math problems
- Work around and with large equipment such as lifts, excavators, skid steers, dozers, cranes, etc
- Pay is $33.43 per hour for JW
Education and Experience:
- State of Idaho Electrical Journeyman License
- High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge and skills:
- Fluency in reading contract documents, specifications, and blueprints
- Proficiency with the National Electrical Code
- Basic computer skills as it applies to your position
- Ability to work overtime hours is a plus
- Basic math skills and calculations
- Ability to work well as a team
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Experience is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
